The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) at Foster, you’ll take responsibility for the full commercial management of our planned programmes and repairs maintenance. You’ll oversee valuations, manage subcontractor accounts, produce accurate cost reports and ensure all works are delivered in line with contractual, financial and regulatory requirements. Working closely with operational teams, you’ll provide clear commercial guidance, challenge costs where needed, and maintain robust controls that support safe, compliant and high‑quality service delivery. Your attention to detail, analytical approach and strong stakeholder management will help ensure well‑maintained homes and positive outcomes for the residents who rely on our service every day.
You will be the SQS for our North Region. You can be based at either of our Wisbech, Cottenham or Grantham offices to suit your location, but will need to travel to Wisbech once a week.

Your expertise in cost planning, procurement and contract administration enables you to drive value, manage risk and maintain full compliance with industry standards.
